Protective heat-resistant suit 

type OB-50/OS-50; OB-50/OS-51

The product complies with the principal safety and health requirements specified in the directive 89/686/EWG/ and the order issued by the Minister of Economy, Employment and Social Policy on March 31, 2003 regarding the basic requirements for individual protection means (Law Gazette No. 80, item 725). 

The suit complies with: PN-EN 340:1996 and PN-EN 531:1999

Protection class: 

Product marking in accordance with PN-EN 531:1999 determines the resistance grade of the material the product is made of. The achieved protection class: 

• A - limited flame propagation; further burning time 0 sec.,
  further glowing time 0 sec. 
• C4 - heat radiation (PN-EN 366:1995, method b) - heat conduction
  degree t > 151 s 
• D3 - liquid aluminium splash indicator (PN-EN 373; 1996) > 351 g

Purpose: 

The suit is designed to protect the worker from flames, liquid metal splash, slag spattering, and intense heat radiation.

Materials: 

The suit is made of the following materials: 

• metallised glass fibre ST-97;
• non-flammable woollen fibre 9409/125 OG; 
• the top is fastened with quick-release clasps protected with a pleat from adhesion of liquid metal;  
• the trousers are adjustable by means of buckles fastened to the straps.
